Description
- Managing the timely collection of all outstanding debts.
- Resolving customer billing and financial discrepancies.
- Developing and implementing a consistent and effective credit control system.
- Ensuring the company's credit exposure is managed and controlled effectively.
- Providing timely feedback to management regarding overdue accounts.
- Interacting with customers to ensure all queries and complaints are dealt with efficiently.
- Working with the sales team to implement strategies and processes.
- Ensuring accurate records of all chasing activity.
Profile
A successful Credit Controller should have:
- A degree in accounting, finance or similar field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven experience in a credit control role within the Industrial / Manufacturing industry.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
