Compass Associatesare proud to partner with a valued client in recruiting for aRegistered Managerfor a medium-sized nursing home based inHigh Wycombe. This home specializes in dementia and elderly care.

We are seeking a dedicated, team-oriented leader who can effectively supervise and inspire both individuals and teams. The ideal candidate will be compassionate, empathetic, and have a deep understanding of the needs of elderly residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the highest standards of care are consistently delivered.
  • Promote resident independence, choice, dignity, and respect.
  • Lead and nurture a team, ensuring continuous improvement in care standards.
  • Be available for emergencies outside of normal working hours.

Requirements:

  • Nurse QualificationorNVQ Level 5(or higher) in care or relevant qualification.
  • Strong knowledge of the care sector and regulatory frameworks for care homes.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Previous experience managing care homes with evidence of strongCQC compliance.
  • Experience with electronic care systems -Essential
  • At least3 yearsof management experience in a care setting.
