As the Bids and Proposals Manager to oversee the planning, development, and submission of high quality bids in line with business-winning processes. This role involves managing the entire bid lifecycle, coordinating dedicated teams, ensuring compliance, and driving continuous improvement.
The Role:
So, what will you be doing as the Bids & Proposals Manager?
- Manage end-to-end bid processes, ensuring compliance with company procedures.
- Establish and lead bid teams, facilitating collaboration across functions.
- Develop bid strategies, review customer requests, and produce compelling proposals.
- Oversee governance, approvals, and budgeting while maintaining proposal quality.
- Conduct post-bid reviews and refine proposal processes for continuous improvement.
What are we looking for in our next Bids & Proposals Manager?
- Proven experience in bid management and complex proposal submissions.
- Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
- Knowledge of bid methodologies such as Shipley and APMP.
- Ability to manage multiple bids within strict deadlines.
- Proficiency in digital tools, CRM, and costing systems.
