Senior Fire Alarm Engineer required for our client, a well-established BAFE accredited Fire Services company who are now looking for an experienced Engineer to join their team, due to expansion within the business.

This role is field based, with the majority of the work taking place within a 50-mile radius of High Wycombe, but the projects can be anywhere in the country so willingness to travel and overnight stays (if required) is essential. You will be working on a variety of projects including Construction Companies, Housing providers and private and commercial businesses.

Senior Fire Alarm Engineer Position Remuneration

  • £40,000 - £60,000 DOE
  • Company Van and Fuel Card (personal use)
  • Hours: 8 - 5pm.
  • Holiday - 20 days + 8BH.
  • Pension
  • Overtime available
  • On call - £175 standby fee 1 in 3. No aggressive callout line.

Senior Fire Alarm Engineer Position Overview

  • Conducting routine maintenance and repairs to Fire Alarms, Emergency Lighting, identifying faults and emergency call outs.
  • Accurately record data on company software and update asset registers.
  • Maintain the high standard of client care face to face, telephone and emails.
  • Ensure compliance with systems
  • Collaborate with Operations Team to ensure job sheets & reports are submitted.
  • Identifying additional client requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Active Manager to maintain continuous improvement.
  • Liaising with other Engineers to ensure workload are allocated accordingly.
  • Providing 1st class support and feedback to a diverse client base.

Senior Fire Alarm Engineer Position Requirements

  • System Knowledge & experience of Apollo /Gent/ Notifier and Advance
  • Electrical background.
  • At least 5 years' experience within the industry.
  • Clean driving license.
  • Capable of carrying out complex fault-finding tasks across closed and open protocol systems
  • FIA Qualifications
  • Experience in commercial projects
  • Experience working on Fire Alarms, Fire Extinguishers, Emergency Lighting, Fire Suppression
  • Local to High Wycombe
