- Qualified to A level or equivalent in an IT related discipline
- CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent
- Understanding of ITIL methodology
- Interest and understanding of Microsoft desktop environment
- Exposure to Windows Operating Systems
- Troubleshooting MS Office Application Suite
- Logical problem-solving strategies
- Good communicator written/verbal and good interpersonal skills
- Experience in first line IT Support
- Remote control applications such as Team Viewer and RDP
- MS Exchange 365 and MS Teams
- Xerox print solutions - including replacing consumables
- MS Server Operating System experience
- Hardware – ability to open a computer and confidently identify components
- Active Directory and Group Policy
- Understanding of Power Shell
- Image deployment – using Paragon or equivalent image software
- Mimecast
- VOIP telephony
- IVR telephony structure
- Datto backup
- Sophos or other cloud-based antivirus solutions
