My Client is recruiting for a Technical Support Engineer in the Water Sector

Technical Support Engineer

Home-based - Nationwide (with frequent travelling to visit sites)

Permanent, Full-time, 37 hours

25 days annual leave, Company vehicle + Fuel card, Comprehensive pension scheme

If so, we have a fantastic opportunity to join our leading, well respected water technologies company, where you will play a pivotal role in being responsible for providing technical support to engineering and commercial departments. The ideal person will have extensive knowledge and experience of the water sector products applications and markets.

Some more brief responsibilities of a Technical Support Engineer are:

  • Technical Support (2nd Level Support) - Relating to the technical support of technology and support products. Receive and manage requests from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Documentation - Support the creation of all documentation related to the execution of service delivery activities including work instructions and service delivery plans.
  • Technical Bulletins - Produce and share with related members and maintain a distribution record of the information shared.
  • Technology Development - Collect and create new ideas for the use of cutting edge technology to improve current and implement new service methods, digital tools and approaches to learning.
  • Services projects - Support and coordinate the preparation of all necessary documentation and materials needed to deliver Services (Service acceptance criteria, service delivery plans, drawings, manuals).

General requirements for the role:

  • Excellent communication skills with previous client facing experience.
  • Attention to detail and to be concise and thorough in documentation.
  • Be punctual and presentable and have extensive knowledge and experience of the company products, applications markets.
  • Water Chemistry.
  • Experience and knowledge of water technologies
    - Ion Exchange
    - Reverse Osmosis
    - Continuous Electro-Deionisation
