Description

Import & Export Coordinator, High Wycombe:

  • Prepare and process import and export documentation
  • Knowledge of Incoterms, Customs Procedures and Commodity Codes (all desirable)
  • Liaise with shipping agents and freight forwarders to coordinate shipments
  • Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and customs requirements
  • Manage the tracking and monitoring of shipments
  • Maintain accurate records of all import and export transactions
  • Communicate with internal departments to ensure smooth operations
  • Handle customer and supplier queries related to shipping and logistics (Road, Air and Ocean)
  • Assist with resolving issues related to delays, customs, or documentation

Profile

  • Previous experience in import/export or logistics administration
  • Strong understanding of international shipping procedures and regulations
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and database systems
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Problem-solving ability and proactive approach to tasks

Job Offer

Salary of circa 30,000 to 35,000 dependant upon experience, and good package.
