Description
- Assisting the merchandising team in planning and executing strategies
- Analysing sales figures, customer reactions and market trends
- Forecasting future sales and stock requirements
- Coordinating with the buying and warehouse teams
- Ensuring the right amount of stock is available and in the right place
- Monitoring and maintaining inventory levels
- Reporting to the Senior Merchandiser on sales, stock and budget
- Assisting in the preparation of promotional materials and displays
Profile
A successful 'Assistant Merchandiser' should have:
- A keen interest in retail and merchandising
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills
- Strong organisational and planning skills
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- The ability to work well within a team
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
Job Offer
- A competitive salary of around £30,000 per annum, with a range of £27,000 to £33,000
