Our client is seeking a Locum to join their team on a rolling contract -immediate start! Responsibilities:

The role encompasses a variety of tasks including:• Serving as the primary Solicitor for Housing Disrepair cases, emphasizing effective client representation.• Handling all facets of legal work related to housing disrepair and litigation.• Supervising housing disrepair cases from pre-litigation through litigation stages.• Representing the Council in court proceedings and conducting advocacy as necessary.• Negotiating and drafting intricate and sensitive agreements and documents within the realm of Housing Disrepair and litigation, while devising clear case strategies.• Evaluating evidence concerning Housing Disrepair cases, assessing prospects of success, and considering the public interest in pursuing cases.Requirements:• Qualified Lawyer (Solicitors, Barristers, and CILEX Fellows).• Previous experience practicing in Housing Law.• Ability to quickly adapt to a locum role in a hybrid working environment.• Capability to work autonomously within a dynamic team.• Must hold a UK Solicitor qualification.

The role is inside IR35 and the hourly rate is up to £27ph PAYE. Excellent working environment , 2 days a week in the office, flexible working and free parking!
