Logistics Manager

We are seeking a Logistics Manager/Supply Chain Analyst with Pharma experience to oversee complete logistics management, including planning, forecasting, liaising with suppliers, warehouses, transport, and customs. This role is crucial for maintaining stock management and serving as the main contact for all logistics issues, taking full responsibility for these areas. A strong background in Mathematics will therefore be an added advantage.

Day to Day of the role:
  • Monitor stock levels to ensure sufficient inventory.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to agree on sales forecasts.
  • Set purchase forecasts in line with sales forecasts and fulfilment timescales.
  • Proactively chase orders as required.
  • Manage relationships and service levels with pre-wholesalers.
  • Provide reports and information for colleagues both in the UK and at Corporate level.
  • Communicate logistics issues effectively.
  • Manage the UK logistics mailbox, ensuring prompt response to incoming emails.
  • Conduct monthly rolling forecasts and weekly SAP uploads.
  • Collate incoming paperwork for new stock deliveries.
  • Generate monthly reports on stock issues.
  • Organise and present at monthly demand review meetings.
  • Liaise with Finance regarding stock quantities, orders, claims, deliveries, and destructions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Attention to detail and a focus on accuracy.
  • Organised with the ability to work independently and prioritise workload.
  • Adaptability to carry out a variety of tasks.
  • Quick learner, able to understand new information and skills.
  • Efficiency in focusing on objectives and allocating time appropriately.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • Self-starter with a ‘can do’ approach and a positive outlook.
  • Proven track record of achievement and performance.
  • Experience with stock management.
  • Familiarity with an ERP system is beneficial but not essential.
