Operations Manager required for our client, a well-established BAFE accredited Fire Services company who are now looking for an experienced Operations Manager to join their team, due to expansion within the business.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations and warehouse, managing resources, driving continuous improvement & KPIs and assisting in the recruitment and retention of existing clients. You will be working within a variety of projects including Construction Companies, Housing providers and private and commercial businesses.

Operations Manager Position Remuneration

  • £37,500 - £55,000 DOE
  • Hours: 8 - 5pm
  • Holiday - 20 days + 8BH
  • Pension

Operations Manager Position Overview

  • Lead and motivate a team of staff to achieve operational goals
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Collaborate with Sales & Finance Directors to ensure monthly invoicing target is met and exceeded.
  • Generation of supporting information of Fire Compartmentation Surveys, Fire Door Surveys, Certification.
  • Fire Alarm handover packs including O&M Manuals /Drawings and modular.

Operations Manager Position Requirements

  • Proven experience in all disciplines of the industry: Fire Prevention & Protection, including Active, Passive & Fire Door Installation and Maintenance.
  • Previous experience in Operations Management role
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities
  • Knowledge of budgeting and financial principles
  • IOSH or equivalent
  • Microsoft Office user ideally advance level Excel.
  • Project Management Qualification
