Job Summary

As a Production Planning Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting Production Operations from an administrative perspective. Your primary focus will be the formation of and co-ordination of the weekly production plan, including data analysis, data integrity, daily updates and the escalation of issues relating to the production plan.

Responsibilities and duties

  • Production Planning: Develop and manage daily, weekly, and monthly production plans to meet customer demand efficiently.
  • Work with other departments, such as quality control, procurement, and logistics, to ensure smooth communication and coordination of resources needed for the delivery of production plan
  • Monthly reporting of production data
  • Daily analysis of data
  • Data entry
  • Attend weekly meetings
  • Maintain accurate records of production output
  • Weekly review of key production quality outputs
  • Monitor production kit availability and liaise with stores and supply chain to ensure production requirements are met
  • Advise appropriately on any variations, delays or constraints towards production plan.
  • Address and resolve administrative enquiries related to production.

Qualifications and skills

  • Previous experience in an administrative or production support role, preferably manufacturing sector.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a customer-focused approach.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced level in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Positive attitude, team player, and proactive problem-solver.
  • Ability to act on own initiative
  • Ability to respectively challenge
