In this role, you will design tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures using CAD software to support the company's manufacturing processes. You'll work closely with engineers and machinists to ensure that designs meet client specifications and industry standards. You will also have the chance to develop and test prototypes, as well as identify opportunities to improve design efficiency and manufacturing processes.

The Role:

  • Create detailed designs for tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures using CAD software.
  • Interpret technical drawings and customer specifications.
  • Collaborate with engineers and machinists to ensure designs are feasible and meet quality standards.
  • Develop and test prototypes to validate design concepts.
  • Identify design improvements to enhance manufacturing processes and product quality.


The Person:

  • Tooling Design Engineer or similar experience.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
  • Strong understanding of machining processes and materials.
  • Commutable to High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire.
