An outstanding independent day and boarding school for girls aged 3 to 13 is seeking a fully qualified Music Teacher and Accompanist to join their thriving Music Department. This is a full-time, permanent role, open to candidates with QTS who are talented musicians with excellent piano and accompaniment skills.

The Role:

  • Teaching class music across Reception to Year 8, delivering engaging and inspiring lessons
  • Serving as the school accompanist for choirs, recitals, and examinations - exceptional keyboard skills are essential
  • Supporting the school's extensive co-curricular music programme, including six ensembles, multiple choirs, and chamber music coaching
  • Encouraging performance opportunities for all students, including monthly solo recitals and termly whole-school concerts
  • Playing an active role in the musical development of all students, from beginners to advanced musicians
