Vanta Staffing High Wycombe are recruiting for an experienced Office Manager who will oversee the general administrative function of the office, making sure everything runs smoothly on a daily basis. This is a full time, permanent role based in High Wycombe.

Monday – Friday

8.00am – 5.00pm (40 hours per week)

£28,000 per annum

The main responsibilities of the Office Manager are:

  • Manage all communication channels including phone calls, emails and in-person inquiries.
  • Organise maintenance of office equipment including cleaning, maintenance and repairs.
  • Ensure relevant records are kept up to date and all administrative processes work effectively.
  • Provide clerical support when needed including mail sorting and distributing, and preparing documents.
  • General office duties including filing, correspondence and stationery ordering.
  • Implement and maintain efficient filing systems for both physical and digital documents.
  • Organise and chair meetings including typing the agenda and taking minutes.
  • Manage the staff training record and arrange training for staff as and when required.
  • Lead and supervise the administration team to ensure all tasks are completed accurately and on time.
  • Managing HR functions such as employee on boarding, scheduling, performance evaluations and ongoing compliance.
  • Oversee day-to-day office activities as the main point of contact, keeping management informed regularly via performance reports.

The key requirements of the Office Manager are:

  • Proven experience in office management or a similar role.
  • Strong IT skills including the use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • High attention to detail with ability to learn and adapt to new procedures.
  • Ability to work independently.
