We are working with a forward-thinking accountancy firm that currently has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Payroll Senior to join their dynamic team. This role offers excellent future career progression and development within a supportive environment.

Role Overview:

Our client is seeking a Payroll Senior with at least 6 years of experience, primarily in payroll services, including managing a portfolio of clients. The successful candidate will have a strong client focus and be dedicated to delivering top-notch service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and review the work of junior team members assigned to payroll clients
  • Handle all aspects of auto-enrolment and pension uploads
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with both clients and internal team members

Experience and Skills:

  • Previous experience using Sage Payroll or IRIS Payroll Professional is a plus but not essential
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency with IT, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • A proactive, team-player attitude with a commitment to a long-term career in practice
