We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Reception Class Teacher to join the team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic individual who is eager to inspire and nurture young learners at the start of their educational journey.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons that engage young learners in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Create a welcoming and inclusive classroom environment that fosters curiosity, independence, and social development.
  • Tailor learning opportunities to meet the diverse needs of all children, ensuring each child is challenged and supported appropriately.
  • Work closely with teaching assistants, parents, and colleagues to ensure the best possible educational outcomes for pupils.
  • Monitor and report on pupil progress, identifying areas for support and celebrating successes.
  • Actively contribute to the wider school community, participating in events, extracurricular activities, and staff meetings.
What We Are Looking For:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience or passion for Early Years education.
  • Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum and child development.
  • Excellent classroom management skills, with the ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
  • A caring, patient, and creative approach to teaching young children.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and staff.
