Job Title: Test Development Engineer / Verification & Validation Engineer

Opportunity for a Test Development Engineer with a Verification and Validation background to undertake a key role supporting the design, development and verification of products for this leading manufacturer.
As Test Development Engineer / Verification and Validation Engineer you will utilise your skills to define and execute the test & V&V vision and strategy for the key engineering programmes within the business from cradle to grave.
You will work closely with your team managing projects from initial concept. This will involve working closely with customers, and an internal multi-disciplined engineering team across projects, test and lead engineers to ensure that the verification and validation (V&V) strategy meets customer requirements and ultimately deliver a first-class product / system.
Key accountabilities will include:
- Guiding and supporting engineers and projects across all elements of product development from the provision of technical documentation through to defining and supporting test set up
- Understand and co-ordinate customer requirements
- Determine required validation methods
- Develop verification methods and specify test equipment to meet project requirements
- Oversee and perform development and qualification testing of products and systems as required
To succeed in this interesting role you will ideally have:
- Proven experience working as a test development or verification/validation engineer or similar
- Integration, Test, Verification and Acceptance experience on complex elec/mech products
- Be degree qualified in an engineering or similar discipline or have commensurate/equal work experience
