The Hansford Sensors Group are looking for an experienced Stores/Goods in Lead Hand to join our growing manufacturing facility. Responsibilities and duties
- Supporting the Supervisor in improvement and supervision of stores systems and processes in line with quality procedures.
- Supporting the Supervisor in improvement and supervision of supplier consignment stocks.
- Support and maintenance in perpetual inventory checks, including consignment stocks
- Support in the supervision of repetitive stock items on production floor, ensuring stock levels are maintained to efficient quantities.
- Ensuring all work orders are kitted accurately in a timely manner as dictated by production schedules.
- Attending production meetings in the absence of the Stores Supervisor to ensure all scheduling plans are understood and worked to
- Ensuring all deliveries are booked in line with quality procedures.
- Supporting the implementation of best practices in stores management controls
- Deputising for Stores Supervisor in their absence.
- Supporting other leadership members with daily requests.
- Leadership and support in the promotion of an efficient, tidy and safe working environment.
Qualifications and skills

- Considerable experience in Stores and Goods in management within manufacturing environment
- Strong organisational skills
- Competent written and oral communication skills
- Computer literate, experience using Microsoft packages - required for documentation production and communication.
- Team player
- Self-motivated and flexible
- Focused, organised and methodical approach to tasks
- Able to work well within a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
