Learning Support Assistant Wanted in High Wycombe for Immediate Start!
Are you passionate about making a positive impact on children's academic learning? We have a fantastic opportunity for a full-time Learning Support Assistant at a superb school in High Wycombe. The role is Monday to Friday, 08:30am to 4pm, providing 1:1 support.
Prior experience as a Learning Support Assistant is preferable, but you must have experience working with children in some capacity in the UK, with references available.
The Role:
- As a Learning Support Assistant, you will help teachers create a safe, fun, and inclusive learning environment for all children.
- Support children, including those with SEND, on a 1:1 basis or in small groups.
- Assist teachers in organising and implementing educational activities inside and outside the classroom.
- Motivate and encourage children to support their educational progress as a Learning Support Assistant.
Requirements:
- Able to work Monday to Friday, 08:30am to 4pm.
- Prior experience with children is preferred; general experience with children in the UK is essential.
- Comfortable providing 1:1 support for SEN children.
- Have or be willing to obtain a Child Only DBS.
- Live locally to High Wycombe or within a commutable distance.
