2Seck Recruitment is proud to partner with a dynamic and growing Building Contractor in their search for an experienced Estimator to join their team in High Wycombe. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a diverse range of high-profile projects, including offices, hotels, sports arenas, shopping centres, airports, transport stations, and residential towers, with project values ranging from £500,000 to £10 million.

As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in managing incoming inquiries and ensuring accurate cost estimations. Working closely with a team of seasoned Estimators, you will be responsible for creating detailed pricing models and contributing to successful project tenders.

• Analyse tender enquiry documents, extracting key information from drawings and specifications.

• Conduct site visits to gain a thorough understanding of project requirements.

• Source and evaluate material and subcontractor prices.

• Use Excel and estimating software to develop accurate pricing models.

• Collaborate with Business Development Managers to prepare compelling tender presentations.

• Prepare preliminary cost estimates and final pricing structures.

• Maintain detailed records of estimating documentation.

• Attend bid meetings and contribute to post-tender discussions.

• Ensure a smooth handover to the Contracts Department.

• 3+ years’ estimating experience, ideally in glazing, facades, or fit-out sectors.

• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

• A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and develop.

• Salary: £50,000 - £60,000, depending on experience.

• 24 days’ annual leave plus Bank Holidays.
