The client
My client are a medium sized civil engineering and groundworks contractor based in the North Lancashire area. This is a split office and site based role. The successful candidate will have NEC ECC experience and will need to be someone who has prior experience of administering up the chain on the main contract and down chain on subcontracts with detailed and sound knowledge of NEC contracts
Duties
Identifying, analysing and developing responses to commercial risks
Undertaking costs analysis
Contract Administration
Providing advice on contractual claims
Assisting in establishing a clients requirements and undertaking feasibility studies
Performing risk and value management and cost control
Advising on procurement strategy
Preparing and analysing costing for tenders
Allocating work to subcontractors
Candidate essentials
o Main contractor experience
o Commercial management of contracts £5m+ in value
o Experience of bridges, FRC, earthworks, highway construction, general civils
Salary
£45,000 - £65,000 (depending on level and experience) please note they are open to seeing assistant level candidates who have ran own projects and want to make a step up
