Personal Tax Senior

Hybrid role - Full/part or Flexi HoursGreat opportunity offering study towards ATT or CTA at this small friendly firm of Accountants.This is a great role which could also suit a Semi Senior seeking to move into a pure taxation role.This growing firm of chartered accountants is looking for an experienced Senior Associate (Personal Tax) who is either ATT qualified or qualified by experience.The role will have plenty of variety and you will be managing your own portfolio of clients as well as managing the firms personal tax compliance process.Main Duties• Preparation of individual and trust self-assessment tax returns.• Dealing with HMRC enquiries, penalty notices etc.• Managing your own portfolio of clients and relationships.• Completing applications and submissions for trust registration service and the residential CGT (60 day) reporting facility.• Advising on day-to-day tax queries such as PAYE codes, tax efficient company cars etc.• Supporting the Tax Directors with tax planning for high-net-worth individuals.• Preparation of forms P11D.• Providing technical assistance to accounts team members.Key Skills• IT literate - familiarity with Microsoft is required, experience of IRIS is ideal preferred but not essential.• You must have good communication skills and an ability to deliver work on time.• A willingness to learn new skills will assist you in the role.Benefits• Competitive salary.• Employer pension contributions.• A package of benefits which include a medical cash-plan and death in service benefit.• 25 days leave in addition to bank holidays.• Free on-site parking.• Hybrid working.
