Role Responsibilities
  • Working with a variety of clients, including limited companies, sole traders, LLPs, and partnerships from various business sectors
  • Preparing and reviewing statutory and management accounts
  • Preparing CT600s and personal tax returns
  • Conducting audits as required
  • Leading client meetings, ensuring excellent service and communication
  • Reporting directly to directors on client matters and delivering feedback on performance
  • Managing a team of accountants, reviewing their work and providing guidance to support their development
  • Ensuring client relationships are maintained and strengthened through regular contact and high-quality service

Candidate Requirements
  • ACA/ACCA qualified with a minimum of two years’ post-qualification experience in practice
  • Experience in preparing and reviewing statutory accounts and tax returns
  • Strong knowledge of accountancy software packages such as Iris and Xero (beneficial)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and develop a team
  • Knowledge of tax would be advantageous
  • Attention to detail and strong organisational skills to manage multiple clients and deadlines
