The RoleAs an HR Advisor/Generalist, you will provide a full range of HR support across the organisation, reporting directly to the Head of HR. Your role will be instrumental in advising managers on HR policies, overseeing recruitment processes, managing employee relations issues, and helping to shape the strategic direction of HR initiatives. This role is ideal for someone eager to step up and contribute to a wide array of HR functions in a fast-paced, evolving business environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide HR advice and support to leaders and employees, ensuring compliance with employment law and best practices.
  • Manage recruitment activities at all levels, partnering with managers to attract and retain top talent.
  • Handle a varied employee relations caseload, including disciplinary, grievance, and performance management matters.
  • Maintain and develop job descriptions, assist with job evaluations, and support salary benchmarking processes.
  • Proactively drive HR initiatives that foster business success and improve employee engagement.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver effective HR solutions aligned with business goals.
  • Assist the Head of HR with strategic HR projects and initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with GDPR, employment legislation, and internal HR policies.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar HR role.
  • Solid understanding of employment law and HR best practices.
  • Experience managing recruitment processes and employee relations cases.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across the organisation.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, with a proactive and adaptable approach.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks in busy periods.
  • Confidence to challenge and influence stakeholders constructively.
