What You'll Do as the Sous Chef:
*Prepare and cook meals to a high level using standard recipes.
*Ensure textured modified meals meet IDDSI guidelines.
*Manage food safety and allergens (Natasha's Law).
*Control food wastage and maintain stock levels.
*Assist in the Head Chef's absence, guiding kitchen staff and ensuring smooth operations.
*Liaise with patients and staff to meet meal requirements.
*Maintain impeccable hygiene and presentation standards.
Qualifications:
*Proven experience as a Chef, preferably in healthcare.
*Knowledge of IDDSI guidelines and allergen management.
*Strong organisational and communication skills.
Hours of work:
-5/7 days per week
-Alternate weekends
-Daytime shifts
