My client is seeking an HR Advisor to provide expert HR advice and effectively deliver HR initiatives and processes across the company. This role involves managing HRIS issues, ensuring data integrity, and supporting HR projects. The ideal candidate will be CIPD qualified or studying towards level 7 and have a strong background in employee relations and HR generalist roles.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Coach and train managers on HR issues, providing business-focused, risk-balanced advice.
  • Provide qualified, consistent, well-informed, and practical end-to-end people-focused solutions.
  • Facilitate and manage employee relationships in line with policies, processes, legislation, and best practices including recruitment, onboarding, probation, and more.
  • Draft correspondence for employee relation cases and maintain high professional standards in line with ACAS and the CIPD Code of Professional Conduct.
  • Maintain staff files and liaise with other key departments as required.
  • Support and assist the Recruitment team during peak seasons.
  • Continually review policy and process changes affecting existing practices.
  • Manage and resolve HRIS application issues and support the implementation of HRIS company-wide.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • CIPD Qualified or studying towards level 7.
  • Strong understanding of UK employment laws, rules, regulations, and best practices.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 and familiar with HR software.
  • Experience in a generalist HR environment and managing HR & HRIS projects.
  • Strong HR Generalist and Employee Relations experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to apply a pragmatic approach and balance commercial needs with assessed risks.
  • Strong organisational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to juggle competing demands effectively and manage own workload and priorities.
