Job Title: IT Support Administrator Salary: £30,000-£35,000 Location: Hitchin Contract: Permanent, full-time Hours: Monday to Friday - 9:00-17:00pm (occasional early shift 6am-2pm on a rota basis) COMPANY PROFILE As my client's business continues to grow, they are seeking a IT Support Administrator to join their team. This role requires you to be patient, adaptable and able to work well under pressure. You will need to have at least 4 years of experience in a IT role which covers the main areas of IT infrastructure support with a broad range of technical knowledge. SKILLS REQUIRED ·At least 4 years experience within a IT support role ·GCSE in English, Maths & Science/IT C grade or above ·Excellent communication skills ·Technically and numerically minded ·Organised and efficient ·Able to work off your own initiative ·Multitasker RESPONSIBILITIES ·Manage and support client hardware, software, IT systems, and infrastructure. ·Provide reactive support, troubleshoot issues, and implement both short-term fixes and long-term solutions. ·Configure, onboard, and reprovision devices for clients, including setting up new IT environments. ·Administer cloud services such as Active Directory, Azure, and Office 365. ·Perform proactive system maintenance, server backups, and recovery operations after outages. ·Liaise with clients, suppliers, and team members while keeping documentation and tickets updated. ·Communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users and provide regular status updates. ·Visit client sites for unresolved issues and assist with technical implementation projects.
