About the Sales / Office Administrator:

A rare opportunity has opened up to join a small but well established business in Kimpton.Operating in a large scale industry, they provide their customers with high quality and fairly niche products, backed up with strong technical support.The company has been trading for over 30 years and enjoys healthy year on year sales growth.

You will be joining a small team of 5, so it is imperative that you have previous experience working for a small employer, where your responsibilities were varied and juggling several responsibilities was second nature.The package:

A salary of 28-30k is on offer as well as an annual profit related bonus of 10%. Pension. 4pm Friday finish (8.30am-5pm standard hours). Parking on site. 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.

Day to day duties of the Sales / Office Administrator include:

  • Responsible for the Co-ordination & Processing of Sales - Suppliers, Customers & Shippers
  • Raising Customer Invoices
  • Managing of Machinery & Invoice Tracker
  • Liaising with Accountants
  • Bookkeeping - Collating and forwarding Invoices to Accountants
  • Credit Control
  • Maintaining Databases with Customer & Machinery data
  • Events & Activity support • Company Car administration
  • Planning Quarterly Team Meetings - Minute Taking
  • General office duties to include overseeing of facilities • Assist the spare parts team as required

Experience required for the Sales / Office Administrator:

  • Experience working for a small employer where your responsibilities were varied (an office supervisor role or similar would be ideal)
  • Microsoft Office as well as evidencing experience with other software packages
  • Basic accounts experience would be an advantage
