An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Quality Inspector to join a global leader in design and manufacturing in Hertfordshire. As the company is undergoing rapid expansion, they require expertise to transform and strengthen logistics operations to support a growing customer base. This role is a critical 9 -month fixed term contract, integral to the company's ambitious growth plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of incoming materials, in-process production, finished products as required.
  • Support NPI and product improvements by completing FAIRs.
  • Identify and document any defects or non-conformities.
  • Support the wider quality and production engineering team by creating standard inspection documentation.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and quality reports.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and efficiency.
  • Provide training and guidance to production staff on quality control processes and best practices

The successful Quality Inspector in Hertfordshire, will have:

  • Experience working in aerospace or other regulated industry desirable.
  • Practical hands on approach essential.
  • Form 1 signatory highly desirable but not essential
  • Proven experience as a Quality Inspector or in a similar role.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent observational skills.
  • Knowledge of quality control standards and testing methodologies.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and report generation
