An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Quality Inspector to join a global leader in design and manufacturing in Hertfordshire. As the company is undergoing rapid expansion, they require expertise to transform and strengthen logistics operations to support a growing customer base. This role is a critical 9 -month fixed term contract, integral to the company's ambitious growth plans.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of incoming materials, in-process production, finished products as required.
- Support NPI and product improvements by completing FAIRs.
- Identify and document any defects or non-conformities.
- Support the wider quality and production engineering team by creating standard inspection documentation.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and quality reports.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and efficiency.
- Provide training and guidance to production staff on quality control processes and best practices
The successful Quality Inspector in Hertfordshire, will have:
- Experience working in aerospace or other regulated industry desirable.
- Practical hands on approach essential.
- Form 1 signatory highly desirable but not essential
- Proven experience as a Quality Inspector or in a similar role.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent observational skills.
- Knowledge of quality control standards and testing methodologies.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and report generation
