Sewing Machinist
Job Type: Permanent, full time Hours: 40-hour week, Monday – Friday (early finish fridays!)Salary: £24,000 - £25,400
This role requires someone with a high attention to detail and strong machine experience.
Benefits:
- 3:30pm finish on Fridays
- Parking onsite
Responsibilities for Sewing Machinist:
- Read Factory Work Order to include “special instructions” and produce according to the specification
- Ensure orders are complete prior to sending the product to the next workstation
- Ensure that products being sewn follow a specific sewing instruction
- Ensure work is being completed in correct priority order to Daily work schedule
- Clarify with Production Supervisor any questions regarding work orders
- Maintain a safe, clean work area, to include blowing down the machine and making minor preventative maintenance of machines
Requirements for Sewing Machinist:
- High attention to detail
- Strong sewing machine experience
- Team orientated and can do attitude
- Ability to continually lift up to 15kg throughout the day
