Company description:
We are working with an established company who specialise in food manufacturing. They are recruiting for a Maintenance Technician to join their team for circa £50,000.
Duties and responsibilities as a Maintenance Technician:
- Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Maintain all high-speed plant machinery
- Liaise with suppliers to order spares and parts
- Attending to reactive breakdowns
- Electrical and mechanical repairs
- Quality checks to understand the reasons for machine breakdowns
- Follow company’s Hygiene, Environment, Health and Safety policies, systems, and safe working practices.
Skills and experience required as a Maintenance Technician:
- Performed maintenance on high-speed machinery
- PLC understanding
- Food or Pharmaceutical Industry background
- Able to read and interpret both electrical schematic and mechanical technical drawings
