Management Accountant required for highly successful, high growth business with an excellent working culture based in Hoddesdon.

You will be joining a friendly, mid-sized team with a great team spirit, covering for each other with the day to work load and holidays.

Key accountabilities and duties include:

  • Prepare the monthly management accounts, including posting journals and preparing reports with both accuracy and with added value of analysis for the various target audiences. Ensure a focus on process improvements to achieve methods efficiency and information clarity.
  • Prepare Balance Sheet reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly VAT return.
  • Maintain the Fixed asset register, accurately recording depreciation actual and forecast including monitoring work in progress.
  • Prepare and post journals to support the inter-company reconciliation process.
  • Actively assist and support the auditing process through the location and provision of accounts, supporting schedules and other documents and files as required.
  • Prepare supporting tax analysis schedules annually
  • Assist with annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting and monitor performance against budget/forecast.
  • Provide ad hoc financial information requests to operational management, government returns.
  • To perform such tasks as from time to time may be required

You will be a qualified Accountant, ACA, ACCA or CIMA with relevant experience.

It is essential that you are a team player and are able to build relationships both inside and outside of Finance
