An established, friendly, and highly regarded independent accountancy firm, located near Hoddesdon is looking for an enthusiastic Tax Accountant to join their team.
About the Role:
As Tax Accountant, you'll play a key role in delivering both personal and corporate tax services to a varied portfolio of clients (generally SMEs, OMBs, Business Owners, HNWIs). Key Responsibilities:
- Handle a portfolio of personal and corporate tax clients, providing expert compliance and advisory services.
- Assist in the preparation and review of tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with the latest tax regulations.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, offering proactive advice and solutions.
- Collaborate with senior team members on complex tax matters and special projects.
- Support the training and development of junior staff members.
What they're looking for:
- Candidates who are ATT, CTA part/qualified OR Qualified by Experience (QBE)
- Experience in both personal and corporate tax within an accountancy practice.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex tax issues to clients in a clear and approachable manner.
- A proactive approach to client service and a keen eye for detail.
