The Opportunity

The Managing Director is smart, personable and genuinely passionate about helping people to develop their careers. The company has higher quality and a larger range of products than their competitors, and pride themselves on finding solutions for clients.
Manage existing accounts, and target new business too; provide fantastic customer service so that customers keep coming back rather than working with competitors.
Visit customers in person (monthly), including occasional international trips, bring your ideas to increase sales, and be rewarded with the bonus scheme. The progression will be good if you are prepared to work hard.
The Role
- Manage existing and new customers, keeping in close contact with each customer to fulfil their supply requirements
- Build excellent rapport with each customer, to build trust, understand their business and thus their product needs
- Update the CRM system accurately, so that you retain all knowledge of each customer
- Make a high volume of calls every day (60 - 70 calls) to maintain contact with regular customers and increase sales
- Work with the Sales lead and MD on client opportunities, including making offers to increase sales
- Attend existing and new clients in person when appropriate, including occasional international trips
The Person
- Previous experience selling to customers is essential
- Excellent communicator, and strong relationship builder, able to build rapport and get people to 'open up’ about their challenges
- Dynamic self-starter, proactive and makes things happen
- Business acumen, bringing ideas to improve performance
- Resilience to cover the client base and maintain momentum
- Excellent organisational skills
- Experience using a CRM database is desired

- Contract: Permanent
- Remuneration: £26,000 - £30,000 + bonus scheme
- Location: Hoddesdon
- Working: 5 days per week in the office, 8:45AM - 4:45PM
