Music Teacher Needed

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver engaging music lessons to students.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive music curriculum aligned with educational standards.
  • Teach diverse music subjects such as music theory, instrumental skills, vocal training, and music history.
  • Prepare students for performances, recitals, and examinations.
  • Organise and lead school music events, concerts, and extracurricular activities.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student participation and creativity.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, offering constructive feedback and support.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school events, meetings, and professional development activities

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have recent experience in teaching primary schools
  • Strong knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 Music curriculum
  • Degree and QTS Desirable (Unqualified Teachers also welcome to apply)
  • Be a committed team player
  • Be confident and adaptable to different environments
  • Have strong classroom management skills
