The salary range for the position is between £25k and £55k, depending on experience, with additional benefits like a car allowance and up to 30 days of annual leave. Our client a multi-disciplinary consultancy based in Huddersfield are actively recruiting for a Building Surveyor on a full time, permanent basis. They provide Architectural, Project Management, Building Surveying, Engineering and principal designer services but not limited to this. This consultancy delivers a variety of projects of values up to £30M, from small to large scale refurbishments, retrofits, redesigns and conversions within the residential / high-rise residential sector.

  • Party Wall Act surveys and property surveys. In addition to the operational aspects
  • Line management and mentoring responsibilities for a small team of 3 - 5 less experienced surveyors.
Building Surveyor Position Requirements
  • RICS or CIOB accredited construction degree
  • 3 years post qualification experience, ideally in both new build & refurbishment projects
  • Proven site experience & providing similar services in your current role
  • Confident communicator & experienced in client facing roles
  • Managing the client relationship and service delivery on a project by project basis.
  • Willingness to travel across the UK to meetings and sites
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • A 'self-starter' able to be trusted to work with a high degree of autonomy & self-motivation.
  • Full UK driving licence

  • Salary: £25k - £55k (Guide Only - DOE - open from Graduate to Senior level)
