Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum + Benefits Package

Role Overview:

I am on the lookout for a talented and detail-oriented Estimator to join the growing team. As an Estimator, you will be crucial in developing accurate cost estimates for a diverse range of projects within the hospitality, retail, education, and healthcare sectors. Your expertise will help maintain the high standards of quality and ensure that they continue to deliver outstanding results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare Detailed Estimates: Develop precise and comprehensive cost estimates for bespoke joinery and fit-out projects across various sectors, including hospitality, retail, education, and healthcare.
• Analyse Project Specifications: Review and interpret project plans, drawings, and specifications to determine the scope of work, material requirements, and associated costs.
• Client and Supplier Liaison: Engage with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to gather relevant information, clarify project details, and ensure competitive pricing.
• Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks and cost implications, providing solutions to mitigate them throughout the estimation process.
• Tender Preparation: Prepare and review tender submissions, ensuring alignment with client expectations and project requirements.
• Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, designers, and other team members to ensure accurate costings and successful project execution.
• Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, material costs, and construction techniques to provide informed and competitive estimates.

Key Requirements:

• Experience: Proven experience as an Estimator in the joinery or fit-out industry, with a focus on hospitality, retail, education, or healthcare projects.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of joinery, fit-out processes, and construction techniques relevant to the specified sectors.
• Skills: Excellent analytical, numerical, and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Software Proficiency: Competency in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Communication: Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and suppliers.
• Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in construction, estimating, or a related field are desirable.
