Sellick partnership are currently assisting in the recruitment of a Night support worker for a local housing association based in Kirklees.
The Night Support worker will provide empowering and sensitive support for service users and to maintain a safe environment for them to live in.
Duties of the night support worker:
- Provide accurate and timely records of service user contact, support plans and service monitoring information ensuring contractual compliance and achieving consistently high performance.
- Report to the Housing Support Coordinators and Housing Support Coaches during a shift handover on service user information and any incidents taking place during the shift including incidents requiring warnings, tenancy breaches and safeguarding concerns
- Assist the Housing Support Coordinators in the delivery of agreed support packages for service users.
- Carry out prompt cleaning and clearing of vacant rooms in order that they are ready to let keeping void loss to a minimum and maintain a clean and tidy project by completing routine cleaning and maintenance duties
- Provide an out of hours service to customers/ project staff and all Connect Housing staff including triage, staff safety and business continuity. 1st point of call for People Safe if staff do not log out or activate alarm, this involves contacting staff, line managers, NOK and Police if required.
- Log and report all repairs, including emergency repairs, in line with procedures
- Manage anti-social behaviour at the project and liaise with appropriate services
Requirements of the Night Support worker:
- Enhanced DBS completed within the last 12 months
- Flexible approach to working patterns
