Part Time Human Resources Generalist - Nr. Okehampton - £35,000 FTE

Well Placed HR are delighted to have been exclusively reengaged by a client that we have recently assisted with another recruitment project; a highly regarded and rapidly expanding FMCG manufacturing business located on the outskirts of Okehampton. The business currently seeks to recruit an experienced HR Generalist to manage the wellbeing of a growing team of employees and promote high quality people management initiatives. The role is offered as a permanent, part time contract operating over a flexible 15-20 hour working week to suit the successful candidate.

This will be a standalone people management role but one that works closely with the directors, senior management team and employees across the business, hence a highly visible role. Key responsibilities of the role will include:

- Assume day-to-day management of the HR function, developing new and existing policies and procedures to ensure a superb employee experience

- Manage all aspects of the company’s recruitment, selection and onboarding projects

- Provide guidance to department managers on HR best-practice

- Record and report on a range of HR metrics for presentation to the directors

- Record and analyse sickness and general absence

- Collate payroll data and liaise with finance

- Oversee all aspects of employee relations

- Manage employee rewards and benefits programs

- Develop L&D initiatives

- Maintain digital people management systems

For this opportunity we seek an experienced HR "allrounder" with solid experience gained in a similar role, ideally in an HR Manager/Advisor/Generalist capacity that focuses on recruitment, legislation, and general employee relations. Working to CIPD level 5 would be advantageous although our client will consider suitable candidates with supporting vocational experience. Needless to say, the successful candidate will possess an approachable, confident and nurturing nature.

The role works with a friendly, supportive and passionate management team, and offers an excellent remuneration package, competitive benefits and a flexible working schedule. Interviews to be held ASAP. For further details including a detailed role specification please contact Carly Kellow quoting reference CK10385 ASAP.
