We are currently recruiting for a temp to perm role- packing operators based in Llantrisant.
We have exciting opportunities for 10 Food Production Operatives to join a well-established company who specialise in manufacturing savoury products and ready meals. Our clients business is growing and as a result, we are now seeking new talent to join their manufacturing teams. The environment is busy and fast paced.
- Various Shifts: Days, Afternoons and Nights
- Hours of Work: 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm and 10pm-6am Monday to Friday
- Salary: £11.44 to £11.44 + £1.20 shift allowanceÂ

About You:
We are looking for enthusiastic individuals with good team working skills and a ‘can do’ attitude. You will be able to follow instructions effectively and work on your own initiative with good communication skills.
You will spend most of your working day standing, and the work often involves bending, lifting, carrying and loading.
You will be responsible for taking the finished product of the manufacturing process and ensuring that it is packaged in line with company and industry standards, making it ready for sale or distribution
Other duties will include cleaning packaging materials, loading items into containers, and weighing and labelling the items appropriately. You will also perform final checks for defective items, ensure all working items make it to the loading area, and keep detailed records of materials and shipments.
Experience: Food manufacturing experience would be preferably, but not essential. (Full training provided.)
Successful candidates will be a pro-active team worker, liaising and co-operating with all members of staff. Operate within the confines of company policy and procedure requirements, including integrity and confidentiality in respect of the business. Abide by health and safety legislation in respect of yourself and others.
