Gotpeople are looking for a pro-active and detail orientated admin assistant for our client in Watford. The role is ideal for someone with excellent organisational skills, an eye for detail and the ability to multitask.

The successful applicant will be responsible for procuring materials, doing sales admin and ensuring timely payments.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Previous experience in an administrative, procurement or finance role.

Knowledge of construction materials and supplies to fit in with project requirements.

 

ROLE (training will be given)

  • Sourcing and procuring construction materials and supplies in line with project requirements.
  • Liaising with suppliers to negotiate pricing and delivery schedules.
  • Processing purchase orders and maintaining accurate procurement records for construction projects.
  • Assisting in sales admin, including logging enquiries and maintaining client relations.
  • Raising invoices and following up client payments to ensure timesly collection.
  • Co-ordinating with site manangers and project teams to ensure materials are delivered on time.
  • Maintaining accurate financial records related to procurement, sales and payments.
  • Assisting with general admin tasks as and when required.

 

EXPERIENCE

  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience working in a fast paced environment.
  • Able to adapt and work on multiple projects/tasks at any given time.
  • Experience with Excel, Outlook and Teams.
  • Interest in Architecture and the built environment is a must.
  • Keen to learn and progress in a sales/procurement environment.

 

This is an onsite role, Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5.30pm. Due to the location you will need to live within walking distance or have own transport.
