Job Title: Junior Account Manager (Hybrid working)

Location: Honiton, Devon

Contract Details: Permanent, full time

Hours: Monday - Thursday, 8.30am - 4.30pm and Friday 8.30am - 3pm

Salary: £27,000 - £32,000 OTE (realistic earnings within the first year)

Our client is a leading company within their industry and operates on a global level. As their business continues to grow, our client is seeking an additional Junior Account Manager / Purchasing Executive to service existing clients, develop new relationships, and expand their operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with both existing and potential clients
  • Purchase large volumes of electronic components from worldwide clients
  • Resell electronic components to existing buyers globally
  • Meet targets and drive business growth
  • Collaborate effectively within a team environment

Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

  • A strong desire to learn
  • Motivation to achieve targets and maximise earnings
  • Proven ability to prospect and target new suppliers using various outreach platforms
  • Strong negotiation skills to secure the lowest possible purchase price
  • Excellent organisational skills and the capability to handle import/export documentation
  • Ability to liaise with suppliers and buyers across different time zones
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems, Microsoft Excel, and the wider MS Office package
  • Articulate communicator

- Bonus: Proficiency in a second language
