Our client, a prominent organisation in their sector, is seeking a skilled Finance Business Partner to join their team. This role is pivotal in providing commercial and financial decision support aligned with strategic and customer priorities, aimed at driving profitable and sustainable growth within the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Acting as a trusted point of contact for business leaders, providing commercial and financial decision support, and delivering insights to improve business profitability.
  • Understanding the customer landscape to provide pricing, cash, and margin optimisation recommendations.
  • Ensuring the accuracy of financial records, compliance, and business financial plans and forecasts.
  • Providing guidance on contract/service performance, including ROI, scenario planning, KPI analysis, and benchmarking.
  • Building customer relationships to support successful commercial and financial negotiations.
  • Delivering contractual obligations through over and under-delivery identification and root cause analysis.
  • Driving cost optimisation projects through profitability analysis and efficiency recommendations.
  • Managing financial and commercial risks proactively.
  • Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and supporting a collaborative environment.
Job Requirements:
  • Professional qualification in finance (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
  • Experience in a commercially oriented bidding and contracting environment.
  • Significant understanding of financial and non-financial business value drivers.
  • Experience working successfully in a virtual or hybrid team setup.
