2nd Chef needed for very busy Café restaurant
Castleton- Hope Valley
£28-30,000 DOE
Normal workings hours will be 8.30am-5/6pm -no evenings!
You will work weekends
Own transport advantageous due to location

This is an excellent opportunity for an 2nd chef to join this small but very busy café, well known for its home cooking and baking. This café has an excellent reputation, and they need a passionate chef to come and join the team.

This cafe restaurant serves an array of fresh meals and snacks form early morning until early evening. A very busy and popular destination for tourists and locals alike, they will often service over 200 covers a day.

As assistant chef you are expected to be well presented, friendly, enthusiastic, and willing to give 100% and be a very hands on

For this role the ideal assistant chef will have kitchen experience within a very fast paced restaurant/café environment and be used to running services and working on your own and a small team. You will also help with ordering /stock take / cleaning etc

The successful applicant for this Chef role will receive a starting salary of up to £28-30,000 doe

Your shifts will be working 5 days out of 7 days, working most weekends but no evenings

This assistant chef is a full time, permanent role
