Job Title: Residential Conveyancer

Salary: Up to £60,000

Location: Horley  

Overview:

An excellent opportunity has arisen with my client, a national firm looking to strengthen their Residential Property team in their Horley office. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Conveyancer to work closely with the Head of Conveyancing to deliver on an interesting and complex caseload as well as supporting more junior team members. They work hard to foster a collaborative and friendly environment while also supporting a healthy work life balance for team members.

Duties include:

  • Taking ownership of a complex caseload of conveyancing matter such as residential sales and purchases, remortgage and equity release transactions, title checking of freehold and leasehold properties, transfer of equity
  • Managing all conveyancing matters from instruction to post completion
  • Supporting more junior team members
  • Contributing to business development efforts and developing and maintaining client contacts in the local area
  • Cross referring clients to other departments where necessary

The successful candidate will have/be:

  • A qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive is preferred however applications from highly experienced non-qualified Conveyancers are also welcome
  • At least 4 years’ experience managing a mixed caseload of residential property matters from instruction through to completion
  • Good knowledge of the local area  
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Package:

  • Up to £60,000 – depending on experience
  • Bonus day scheme
  • 26 days holiday plus bank holidays
