We're looking for a Data Centre Lead Consultant to join our high-performing team, driving strategic consultancy, design, optimisation, and compliance services for Enterprise Data Centres and professional operators.

The role
This is a key leadership role where you'll work on industry-leading projects, providing expert guidance across feasibility studies, master planning, design, commissioning, and technical compliance. You'll be instrumental in delivering best-in-class technical solutions while mentoring and developing teams to meet the highest industry standards.
What You'll Be Doing
Leading consultancy and professional service projects across strategic planning, audits, design, engineering, and compliance.
Designing and optimising Data Centre and critical infrastructure solutions to ensure resilience, efficiency, and sustainability.
Overseeing technical designs and specifications from RIBA 1-4 stages, ensuring top-tier quality and compliance.
Undertaking audits and assessments, providing expert recommendations on reliability, maintainability, and efficiency.
Managing the technical aspects of tenders and proposals, working closely with sales and project teams.
Liaising with stakeholders including clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project delivery.
Driving innovation, helping shape the direction of the business with your expertise.

What You Bring
Proven experience in Data Centre Installations and Engineering Leadership.
Expertise across Critical LV Switchgear, UPS Systems, Standby Generation, Cooling, Fire Suppression, BMS/PMS/EMS.
Strong knowledge of Uptime Institute, BS EN 50600, TIA-942 and other Data Centre standards.
Ability to lead teams, communicate effectively, and drive technical excellence.
Degree/HNC in a relevant engineering discipline (or equivalent experience).
Proficiency in design software, CAD, BIM and office applications.
Chartered (or working towards) CIBSE, IET, IMechE membership.
