Hey there! Are you ready to make a real difference? We’re looking for a Teaching Assistant to join our team, supporting incredible students aged 7-11 who face challenges with communication and social interaction, often associated with Autism. Whether you’re experienced or just keen to step into a SEN environment, this role offers a chance to impact young lives positively.

If you have personal experience with Autism, perhaps through family members, and you’re motivated to contribute positively in a similar setting, we especially want to hear from you! Plus, our school is nestled in a beautiful, leafy area of Surrey, providing a serene and therapeutic environment perfect for both learning and teaching.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Build warm, supportive relationships with our pupils, helping them feel safe and eager to learn.
  • Encourage and foster personal development and independence among the students.
  • Assist our Class Teacher with the daily classroom activities and keep things running smoothly.
  • Be ready to adapt to various needs of the school, which might include some physical intervention (don’t worry, we’ll train you!).
  • Promote all-around growth in our students—be it cognitive, social, emotional, or physical.
We’re Looking For Someone Who:
  • Has at least a Grade 4 in GCSE Maths and English.
  • Holds or is working towards a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification (nice to have, but not a deal-breaker).
  • Has experience in a special school setting or personal experience with Autism (big plus!).
  • Might have Team TEACH Training (also a plus).
  • Ideally, you should be a driver due to the location of our school.
