We’re on the lookout for a dynamic Head of Contract Management to spearhead our Contract Management team within the Procurement and Supply Chain function, helping manage and implement change. In this pivotal role, you’ll drive the development and execution of innovative contract strategies, ensuring seamless collaboration with internal departments such as legal, finance, and procurement, as well as with our external partners.   • Lead the Contract Management Team, focusing on recruitment & development, making a lasting impression whilst adding to the existing team, building sustainable internal and external relationships.
  • Spearhead ongoing optimisation & implementation of new practices and performance evaluation to optimise contract management practices.
  • Oversee the development, negotiation, and execution of contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Implement and manage tools and systems to streamline contract management operations and enhance productivity.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to align contract terms with company strategies and risk management policies.
  • Analyse contract performance and financial implications to provide strategic recommendations and identify business opportunities.
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and partners to ensure favourable contract terms and support ongoing collaboration & growth.

What you’ll need

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management; RIC accreditation preferred.
  • Experience with NEC suite contract administration.

  • Negotiation: Utilises industry knowledge to secure favourable terms while balancing flexibility & consistency.
  • Contract Law: Skilled in drafting and analysing contract terms to protect the organisation and ensure compliance.
  • Risk Management: Identifies and mitigates contractual risks through detailed analysis and strategic planning.
  • Compliance Monitoring: Conducts regular audits to ensure adherence to policies and regulations, addressing any discrepancies.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Communicates effectively with suppliers and teams to align contract deliverables with organisational goals and foster strong relationships.
